In our continuing efforts to bring out the antiquity, uniqueness and heritage of our Club, this month we give you a glimpse of some of the trophies from the Sailing Annexe.
As stated earlier the Sailing Annexe predates the Main Club. At the beginning of the 20th century, it was called the “Secunderabad Boat Club” and was part and parcel of the Secunderabad Club. It was later christened as Secunderabad Sailing Annexe.

All these Trophies were Rolling Trophies where Sailors vied with each other to win them and get their names etched on them.
Most of these Trophies are made in Silver and carry a distinct imprint of the manufacturers. All of them have the Lion, anchor and the alphabet series, probably a private index of the manufacturer.
