Timings
Boatmen are available only from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm; sailing after 6:00 pm is not permitted
The Secunderabad Club is probably one of the few Clubs in the world which has its own Sailing Annexe. Overlooking the vast and picturesque Hussain Sagar Lake and spanning around 3 acres, The Sailing Annexe is especially devoted to the activity of sailing and Water Sports, with a world-class hospitality backup.
Many sailing Regattas are held at Club’s Sailing Annexe, including National events every year. It has a close functioning relationship with the Sailing activities of the Army. Every year, with the advent of the monsoons in July, the gentle ripples on the Husain Sagar Lake make way for large waves and forceful winds transforming the waters into a Sailor’s paradise. As part of the Sailing activity, classes in Sailing are conducted specially for children and young adults every year under competent national-level trainers and coaches.
The facilities at the Sailing Annexe are as follows:
- Motorboat rides
- Sailboats for the Members
- A/C Bar overlooking the lake
- A/C Dining Hall overlooking the lake
- Three A/C Banquet Halls with a total capacity for 200 people
- Lawns on the bank of the lake with a capacity for 150 people
Other Details
- No Member shall take out a sailing craft except in accordance with the rules laid down by the Sailing Sub Committee
- Any Member or guest of a Member making use of the Club Boat for any purpose does so at his or her risk
- Club boatmen are responsible primarily for launching, rigging, hauling and maintenance of the Club boats as directed by the Sailing Sub Committee. However, they may be used as crew or instructors by the Members when available

The Royal Arc 1 & 11 are air conditioned, with an attached terrace and can accommodate about 100 pax.
ROYAL ARC I (AC)
The Royal Arc 1 is an air conditioned hall with an attached terrace and can accommodate about 40 pax.
ROYAL ARC II (AC)
The Royal Arc 11 is an air conditioned hall with an attached terrace and can accommodate about 60 pax.
CAPTAINS LOUNGE
Captains Lounge is a perfect place for lunch & dinner parties and can accommodate about 40 pax.
AC BAR
The AC Bar is an air conditioned enclosed Bar that can accommodate about 40 pax.
COFFEE BY THE BAY
Coffee By The Bay is an enclosed air-conditioned area where members can host parties

- The Club Administration has the right to reserve any of the facilities to host any Club function.
- GST will be levied on all food and beverage items as per government rules.
- Charges will be for booked number of persons even if lesser number of people have attended the party.
- 100% advance is to be paid 48 hrs prior to the party. Menu and number of pax to be finalized, at least 48 hrs in advance, no changes will be entertained.
- Decoration and lighting, if on the higher side, consuming more power than normal consumption, a separate generator will be arranged for all the extra lighting by the vendor at member’s cost.
